1. Introduction
My name is Andy Terry and I have been teaching trumpet and piano/keyboard for 18 years. I began when my degree finished in 2000, teaching in London for 3 years. I then qualified as a secondary school teacher and taught in and out of schools in Lincolnshire, Gloucestershire and more recently in Gran Canaria, Spain where I began teaching beginner guitar and drums. I am passionate about transferring my knowledge of music to as many people as possible in fun and accessible ways and firmly believe that music-making enhances not only the lives of the musician, but also the lives of those around them.
